Annual contributions of members

Member organisations pay an annual contribution in proportion to their research budget.

Membership lasts for one year and renewals are conducted on a yearly basis.

  • US$2,200 for members with a research budget of up to US$5M
  • US$5,400 for members with a research budget of US$5M to US$25M
  • US$8,200 for members with a research budget of US$25M to US$100M
  • US$11,000 for members with a research budget of over US$100M

Application process

Applications to join the IAMHRF are submitted through our online form.

Acceptance is not guaranteed and requires approval from our steering committee. You will receive a response by email once your application has been considered.

Before applying, ensure that you have:

  • Reviewed our Terms of Reference
  • Looked at our projects to identify areas of shared interest
  • Prepared relevant information about your organisation, including approximate research budget, contact details, geographical remit, and types of research funded.

Partnership

PARTNER WITH THE IAMHRF

Key facts

Partners are generally invited to join the IAMHRF based on the alignment of their interests and activities with our work and that of our current members. Although partners engage with the IAMHRF on a more limited and less frequent basis than members, they still play a vital role in supporting our projects.

Partner organisations work in the mental health research ecosystem but their primary function is not to fund research.

Partners do not contribute financially to the IAMHRF’s operating budget.
